My father grew up playing at this train station in the 1940’s. It’s one of my favorite postcards.
I turned 19 years old on Parris Island in 1992. It changed me.
Robert Service was my father’s favorite poet and The Cremation of Sam McGee was one of his favorites as well so when I found this card I couldn’t believe this cabin existed. Sadly my father was already gone by the time I found it.
